Twitter, Facebook, Digu...what do these three websites have in common? They are all internet platforms for people to tell others everything they are doing every minute, or second. My question is: why do I need to tell people what I am doing every minute for? nor do I care what others are doing every minute!
The commercial orientation of the creators of these sites is understandable, as more and more people click the homepages, the better peripheral advertising effect is therefore anticipated. Though technological advancement enables us to use cellphones, portable mini-notebooks, PDAs to transmit our messages online instead of sitting idly in front the screen and typing on the keyboard, I still consider that some parts of my life should remain secluded. Others do not need to know.
