A series of gas explosions in Kaohsiung City resulted in 27 deaths and wounded over 280 people; 48 passengers were killed in a plane crash last week in Penghu; an anti-aircraft missile fired by Ukrainian pro-Russia rebels took the lives of all 283 passengers and 15 crew members on board the Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 instantly.
None of the victims knew what fate would bring to them and their families even a few minutes before their death.
Life is so fragile. We really do not need to argue or fuss about too many trivial matters or compete with others over anything insignificant. Instead, we should treasure our lives and try harder to treat ourselves and people around us better.
